As the sun rises over the picturesque alpine town of Flachau, Austria, a unique and electrifying event is set to take place. From May 24th to May 26th, 2024, the Tesla Takeover Europe 2024 will unite electric vehicle enthusiasts, tech aficionados, and curious onlookers for a weekend of innovation, inspiration, and community spirit.
This one-of-a-kind gathering, organized by the Tesla Club Austria in collaboration with the Tesla Owners Club Silicon Valley and other European clubs, celebrates the cutting-edge technology and community spirit defining the electric vehicle movement.

Up to 1,000 Teslas are expected to gather in the beautiful Flachau, nestled in the heart of the Austrian Alps. Attendees can participate in a variety of activities, including talks from industry leaders, workshops on electric vehicle technology, and entertainment options for the whole family.
World’s largest Tesla Lightshow
In addition to the keynote speakers, the event includes a synchronized Tesla light show, scenic rides and drives, networking opportunities with fellow enthusiasts, innovators, and entrepreneurs, and exploration of action parks. The entire event will kick off on Friday early evening with a great Tesla light show, designed by Simon Pollock – the creator of Tesla lightshows initiative, with whom we will soon bring you a unique interview.
As the sun sets, attendees will enjoy an evening of music and celebration at the Musistadl, where they can share their passion for electric vehicles, discuss the latest innovations, and forge new friendships.

The president of Tesla Owners Slovakia o.z. Kristián Kratochvíl and its other members will participate too, as well as the DriveTesla.sk and its founder Jaroslav “Jairo” Kapšo, whose company provides complete services regarding Tesla vehicles, importing new and used vehicles Tesla at the best prices, purchase of used Teslas, consulting, rental, driving, and at the same time functions as the only Tesla showroom in Slovakia.

Interview with Ing. Bernd Donner – Club Manager Tesla Club Austria
1. Can you provide an overview of the Tesla Club Austria and its role in organizing the Tesla Takeover in Flachau?
Tesla Club Austria is the main organizing force behind the Tesla Takeover Europe. We visited the Tesla Takeover in California and helped with some organization there (especially the Cybertruck Lightshow). We did a lot of great events in the past so we have a great experienced team to cope with all the challenges that such an event brings.
2. What are some of the key highlights and events planned for the Tesla Takeover in Flachau?
The absolute highlight are the people that are coming. That’s what we realized during our journey organizing the biggest Tesla community festival. The feedback is amazing and seeing all those countries coming together feels very special. Our goal is to have as much fun as possible, but of course fulfilling as much different needs of Tesla people and interested non Tesla owners as possible. There will be keynotes from interesting speakers, tech workshops, a modded car area and fun stuff for kids, action attractions for adults and a great party in an awesome location. One of the highest priorities are to bring a Cybertruck to the event so we found a solution to own one ourself and try to bring it as fast as possible to Europe.
3. How does the Tesla Club Austria collaborate with other international Tesla clubs to make events like the Tesla Takeover in Flachau a success?
We have very good relations and friendships to clubs all over Europe. They help us promoting the event and support with sponsorship contacts and their experiences. Tesla Owners Silicon Valley are the founders of Tesla Takeover events, so we work with them the closest.
4. What kind of workshops and presentations can attendees expect at the Tesla Takeover in Flachau, specifically focusing on the latest developments in sustainable technologies?
We have some great experts for different topics like Lifestyle, Tech, Tuning,…. Sustainability is a big topic for us so we give away a free keynote session and sponsor package for a sustainable startup called Rethink Clothing. We partner with them for our merchandise because the textile industry takes a big part of CO2 pollution. Giga Berlin and it’s recent riots will be a topic. We want to show how green it really is. Besides that we talk about Tesla related topics like FSD, robotics, AI and of course Cybertruck.
5. How does the Tesla Club Austria envision the future of electric vehicles in Europe and what role do events like the Tesla Takeover play in promoting this vision?
We experience that every event we organize leaves an impact on the local people. People talk about it and can experience it first hand. We try to bring people to the event who didn‘t drive a Tesla or an electric vehicle yet. Tesla Austria will be there providing test drives for the local community. Besides that in these times of so much uncertainties and crisis it is important to strengthen the community and giving people the chance to meet friends and find new ones across the globe. We have visitors from America and Asia joining so it will be a great opportunity to learn from eachother and have a good time. That‘s what we all deserve right now.
